Acer doubles down on Copilot+ PCs with new Swift Go and Aspire AI laptops

For CES 2025, Acer has announced the launch of new Swift Go and Aspire laptops that expand its Copilot+ PC offerings.

There will be new versions of its 14-inch and 16-inch Swift Go AI laptops which come powered by AMD processors with OLED or IPS touchscreen displays. Plus, there is a new Aspire 14 AI laptop that come with Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors.

The new Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-61/T) and Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-64/T) are powered by the new AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors with "Zen 5" architecture. These have up to eight high-performance cores and 16 threads that clock up to 5.0 GHz max boost processing (this means that a processor can reach a maximum clock speed of 5.0GHz when under heavy workload). Additionally, the processor features AMD XDNA 2 NPU architecture delivering up to 50 TOPS and use the latest AMD Radeon 800M graphics for improved streaming, editing performance, and more. 

The new Swift Go AI laptops can run efficiently and reliably for all-day use with a battery life of up to 24.9 hours of video playback, while powering the AI features such as Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 (included in last year’s models) and Acer UserSensing 2.0.

Both models have an OLED display with up to 3K resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rates, and are DisplayHDR, TrueBlack 500, and Eyesafe 2.0-certified. Additionally, IPS touch display options are also available for both models for customers who prefer the multi-touch experience. The new Swift Go AI models also include a 1440p QHD IR camera supported by DTS X: Ultra audio and a 3-microphone array when online conferencing.

The Acer Aspire 14 AI (A14-52M/A14-52MT) is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2), up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory, and an integrated NPU to accelerate AI workloads. For connectivity, it comes with two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports and one HDMI 2.1, which can support up to an 8K monitor, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

With up to 22 hours of video playback, it also has a 180-degree hinge so the display can lie flat and comes with either a 14-inch 16:10 OLED option or a WUXGA touch-enabled panel.

Acer Aspire S AI

But that’s not all of Acer’s new AI-enabled devices. The company also launched the Acer Aspire S AI AIOs that includes the Aspire S24 AI (S24A-GLNL/S24A-TLNL) with a 23.8-inch Full HD 120 Hz display and the Aspire S27 AI (S27A-ELNL/S27A-TLNL/S27A-ULNL) with a 27-inch display available in both FHD and QHD resolutions. Both models also offer touch panel options.

Powered by up to Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with up to 48 NPU TOPS and integrated Intel Arc graphics, these AIOs allow for easy multitasking. The 2MP Windows Hello RGB-IR camera enables quick and secure face recognition login and comes with a privacy shutter.

The new AIOs has variety of ports, including HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2, two USB 2.0, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, Bluetooth 5.4, and Wi-Fi 7. The Aspire S AI desktops come with two 3-watt speakers and ship with a wireless keyboard and ergonomic mouse.

The Acer Aspire C24 AI (C24B-GKRK/C24B-GSTX) and Aspire C27 AI (C27B-GKRK/C27B-GSTX) are all-in-one PCs that use 23.8-inch and 27-inch displays, with up to QHD resolution and a rapid 180 Hz refresh rate. Both models are outfitted with up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory, up to a 1 TB M.2 PCIe SSD, AMD Radeon 800M graphics, and are powered by up to an AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor with an NPU providing up to 50 TOPS.

They have a 5MP webcam with a privacy shutter to protect privacy. Connectivity options include a DisplayPort, USB 2.0 Type-C and HDMI, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The Acer Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-64/T) will be available in North America in May, starting at US$899.99 (~S$1,225.40).

The Acer Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-61/T) will be available in North America in April, starting at US$949.99 (~S$1,293.48).

The Acer Aspire 14 AI (A14-52M/A14-52MT) will be available in North America in February, starting at US$799.99 (~S$1,089.25).

The Acer Aspire S24 AI (S24A-GLNL) will be available in North America in Q2, starting at US$1,199.99 (~S$1,633.88).

The Acer Aspire S27 AI (S27A-ELNL) will be available in North America in Q2, starting at US$1,299.99 (~S$1,770.03).
