Our prediction that 2024 is set to be a transformative year for consumer technology thanks to AI and Neural Processing Units (NPUs) is certainly off to a good start.
At CES 2024, Acer has just announced three new additions to the Swift family of laptops, all with AI features baked into them thanks to the Intel Core Ultra processors coming with an integrated NPU.
As Intel Evo-certified laptops, the new Acer Swift Go 16 and Acer Swift Go 14 laptops both come with a dedicated Copilot key, allowing for easy access with the press of a button. The laptops also have a 1440p QHD webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) for higher quality video, while also sporting AI-boosted features like Background Blur, Automatic Framing, Eye Contact and more.
The three built-in microphones are paired with Acer's PurifiedVoice 2.0 technology and AI noise reduction to capture clear audio while reducing background noise.
