The Aeris 330 is GameMax’s subtler take on the mini-tower case, with glass and mesh options

Though it still retains a bit of the company’s flair with the claw mark-like LEDs.

As the market for mini tower PCs continues to grow, more manufacturers want a piece of the pie, and GameMax is no exception. The company has unveiled the Aeris 330, its take on a small-to-mid form factor PC case.

The case comes in two colours, black and white, as well as glass and mesh variants for the front panel depending, on whether you prioritise style or cooling. Apart from those features, though, the rest of the case’s design is fairly understated, especially compared to the rest of the company’s offerings, which tend to lean in more on the claw-like imagery that GameMax has been going for recently.

That’s not to say there’s no trace of it, as you can see the vertical LEDs on the front panel through the glass and mesh. But contrast that with other mATX cases the company offers, like the CLAW 360 and T20 cases, and it does feel as if the Aeris 330 hides the flashiness a little bit.

The interior of the Aeris 330 can fit up to a 330mm-long GPU, a 155mm CPU cooler, as well as an ATX PSU measuring up to 160mm. It’s also rather expandable in terms of storage, considering the size – it fits up to three 3.5-inch HDDs and two 2.5-inch SSDs, or five 2.5-inch SSDs and one 3.5-inch HDD.

Port selection is pretty standard, if a bit lacklustre. There’s two USB Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 and another USB 3.0, and one USB 3.0 Type-C port, along with a combo headphone and microphone jack.

There’s adequate space for cooling, seeing that the case can accommodate a maximum of eight 120mm fans. The front of the case can also fit a 360mm radiator, while the top panel, despite being able to fit three 120mm fans, can only fit a 240mm radiator at most. No matter which version you get, though, each case will come with four 120mm ARGB fans pre-installed.

Availability and pricing

Perhaps the biggest strength of the GameMax Aeris 330 is that it’s pretty affordable. The mesh black and mesh white variants of the Aeris 330 cost US$57.99 (~S$75.27) and US$61.99 (~S$80.46) respectively. The glass variants cost US$59.99 (~S$77.86) for the black colourway and US$63.99 (~S$83.05) for the white. There’s no word yet on local availability and pricing, but we’ll update this article once we know more.
