The Samsung Galaxy Ring is said to be priced between US$350 to US$400.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring could cost as much as a mid-range Galaxy phone.

French deals portal Dealabs claims to have information from local retailers about the retail price of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, which is said to be a whopping 449 euros (~S$656).

If this is true, Android Authority believes it could cost between US$350 and US$400 in the US, which is about S$472 to S$539, based on currency exchange rates at the time of publication.

To put this figure into context, this means the Samsung Galaxy Ring will cost as much as the recently launched Galaxy A53 5G mid-range phone!

It would also mean that earlier reports which suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Ring could cost as much as a smartwatch were right. Tipster @heyitsyogesh speculates that Samsung might introduce a monthly subscription fee for Galaxy Ring users to access "premium features".

Samsung is expected to reveal the full specs and pricing of the Galaxy Ring alongside the new Galaxy Z foldable phones and the Watch7 lineup at its Galaxy Unpacked event on 10 July.
