The Samsung Galaxy Ring could be priced between US$300 to US$350 and come with a monthly subscription.
The possible launch price of the Samsung Galaxy Ring has been revealed by tipster @heyitsyogesh.
The tipster shared on X (formerly Twitter) that the Samsung Galaxy Ring will be priced around US$300 to US$350 (~S$405 to S$472).
To put the Samsung Galaxy Ring's price in perspective, the 40mm Samsung Galaxy Watch6 (Bluetooth) costs S$448. That's a hefty price tag for a wearable that does not have a display to tell the time or notifications.
@heyitsyogesh revealed to Android Authority that the Samsung Galaxy Ring might come with a monthly subscription of "under US$10" (~S$13.50). Since health features are available at no cost on the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 lineup, it remains to be seen what "premium features" the monthly subscription will bring.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Ring earlier this year at the end of the Galaxy S24 series Unpacked event. Slated to hit retail shelves later this year, Samsung revealed at Mobile World Congress 2024 that the Galaxy Ring will come in ring sizes 5 to 13 and will have three colour options.
As for health and fitness features, the Samsung Galaxy Ring can monitor heart rate, breathing rate, sleep quality (including sleep apnea), and night movement. The wearable will also be exclusively compatible with Galaxy phones at launch, but there are plans to bring support for other Android devices.
