The Samsung Galaxy Ring (hands-on here) was launched last year alongside the Korean company’s Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6. Unfortunately, the smart ring wearable was available only in select markets, and most of the world (including Singapore) did not receive it.
That’s changing now, with Samsung Singapore introducing the Galaxy Ring six months after its launch and aligning its local release with its upcoming Galaxy flagship phones.
On its official social media pages (Facebook, Instagram), Samsung Singapore informs its fans that the Galaxy Ring will be available from 23 January 2025 onwards. The company boasts its health-tracking features in these clips and showcases the ring.
Fans keeping tabs on Samsung’s launches would also recall that 23 January 2025 is the same date as its Samsung Unpacked H1 2025 keynote, which typically announces Samsung’s flagship mobile devices to the world.
Another hint about the Samsung Galaxy Ring’s Singapore launch alongside the Galaxy S25 series phones is that each social media post by Samsung Singapore reminds users to complete their pre-registrations and qualify for an S$88 e-voucher that can be used after the keynote.
However, it’s worth noting that the S$88 e-voucher only applies to “the next Samsung Galaxy smartphone”. It can’t be used on the smart ring, but nothing stops you from “tumpang order” (Malay for hitching a ride, in this case, hitching on your smartphone’s pre-order).
Given that Samsung Singapore has chosen to schedule the Galaxy Ring’s release with the Galaxy S25 series launch, the company will likely reveal its official prices only after Samsung Unpacked itself.
