Nearly a year after returning to the smartwatch market, Pebble has announced the Pebble Round 2, the successor to its first circular smartwatch.
Unlike the decade-old Pebble Time Round, the new Pebble Round 2 features a 1.3-inch colour e-paper display with a bezel-less design. It also delivers a claimed two-week battery life, which is a significant upgrade over the original model’s two-day battery life.
Other specifications include a stainless steel frame, three colour options (matte black, brushed silver, and polished rose gold), PebbleOS, and compatibility with iOS and Android phones. The smartwatch also supports step and sleep tracking, along with water resistance rated up to 30m.
The Pebble Round 2 is now available to pre-order on rePebble.com for US$199 (~S$255), with shipments expected to begin sometime in May.
