Huawei Watch GT 6 series announced: Up to 21 days of battery life, pre-orders start 24 Sep
One of the first smartwatches that can track cycling power without the need of a power metre.

Huawei has unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Watch GT 6 series, with several upgrades in battery life, workout route tracking, and health monitoring. The Watch GT 6 series comes in three sizes: GT 6 Pro (46mm), GT 6 (46mm), and GT 6 (41mm).
Up to 21 days of battery life
The new smartwatches are powered by a high-silicon stacked special-shaped battery, which delivers up to 65% more capacity than their predecessors. The 46mm models last up to 21 days of battery life under light usage (versus the Watch GT 5 Pro’s 14 days), while the 41mm model can last up to 14 days with typical usage.
Enhanced Sunflower positioning system
The Watch GT 6 series features an upgraded Sunflower positioning system, which provides 20% more accurate tracking of workout routes and distance data compared to the previous generation.
Cycling virtual power
Huawei says the Watch GT 6 series is one of the first smartwatches to support cycling virtual power. This feature provides real-time, highly accurate cycling power calculations, helping serious cycling enthusiasts fine-tune their training intensity and performance.
Huawei claims the feature is developed through extensive research, involving “thousands of cycling simulations and advanced wind resistance modelling in a state-of-the-art wind tunnel lab in China”.
Roll-out of ECG in Singapore
Clinical-grade ECG is now officially available in Singapore. Beyond the Watch GT 6 series, the feature is also enabled on other watch models, including the Watch Fit 4 Pro, Watch GT 3 Pro, Watch GT 5 Pro, Watch 3 Pro, Watch 5, Watch D2, Watch Ultimate, and Watch Ultimate Design.
Availability and pricing
Pre-orders for the Huawei Watch GT 6 series will start from 24 September, 8 pm, on Huawei Experience Stores and Huawei Official Stores at Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. Retail availability will begin from 3 October. The official retail prices of the Huawei Watch GT 6 series are:
- Watch GT 6 (41mm): Purple (S$298), White (S$328), Brown (S$328)
- Watch GT 6 (46mm): Grey (S$328), Green (S$328), Black (S$298)
- Watch GT 6 Pro (46mm): Black (S$398), Brown (S$398), Titanium (S$598)
Customers can enjoy free one-month Huawei Health+ and up to $40 off on Huawei Official Stores at Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. As there are limited quantities of the pre-order promotions, they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
