In time for Comex 2025 and Singapore’s 60th birthday, M1 has introduced new M1 SG60 Fibre Broadband Hot Deals.
Its most affordable broadband plan under this promotion starts at S$29.50 a month for 24 months. For this monthly payment, you get:
- 3Gbps speeds
- Either a TP-Link Archer BE230 or ASUS RT-BE58U router
- Free registration (worth S$61.04)
- Free ONT Activation available for all time slots (worth up to S$123.41)
- Free Home Fixed Voice Service
- Free 24 mths Mobile Broadband (Bespoke SurfValue)
There are two other M1 SG60 broadband plans being offered during this SG60 promotion period: a 6Gbps plan for S$34.90 and a 10Gbps plan for S$50.90. These plans are also for 24 months, with the difference being in the types of router on offer. For those keeping score, this is cheaper than when the plans first launched last year.
M1 Bespoke SurfValue is a complimentary SIM-only mobile broadband service provided to eligible M1 customers when they sign up for certain 24-month Fibre Broadband plans. With it, customers receive a small amount of free mobile data (currently 500MB per month) at 4G speeds, which is adequate for general internet usage on any M1 mobile plan, including Bespoke plans, or as a backup for devices.
Flexible set of routers to suit your needs
The type of router received also depends on what plan you subscribe to. For example under the cheapest S$29.50 plan you get:
Router | Price under plan |
---|---|
TP-Link Archer BE230 | Free |
ASUS RT-BE58U | Free |
ASUS RT-BE92U | S$13.00 / month |
TP-Link Archer BE805 | S$15.00 / month |
ASUS ZenWiFi BT10 (Pack of 2) | S$21.00 / month |
Do note that, as we covered earlier, for the two free routers listed, users have a choice between them.
What’s nice to see is that M1 is providing users with modern Wi-Fi 7 routers. This will allow users to take better advantage of their plans’ high broadband speeds. For more on why you need a Wi-Fi 7 router and why Wi-Fi 7 matters, read our guide here.
