Oppo Singapore announced the availability and pricing of its latest flagship Android tablet, the Pad 3 Pro.
The Oppo Pad 3 Pro runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform, and sports a 12.1-inch 3K 144Hz LCD display with a 7:5 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 900 nits. Users can maximise the screen estate with the Boundless View feature, which allows up to three split-screen apps to be opened and used simultaneously.
Interestingly, Oppo continues to use LCD displays whereas Samsung uses OLED displays for its latest Galaxy Tab S10 series of tablets.
The Oppo tablet also jumps on the AI bandwagon and comes with a neat bag of AI features such as:
- AI Eraser 2.0 which automatically removes crowds and other objects from photos in one click
- AI Smart Image Matting with multi-subject recognition for up to three subjects to isolate subjects in complex backgrounds
- AI Speak to read text aloud
- AI Summary to condense long articles into key points
- AI Writer to simplify content creation by generating text based on prompts
For creative professionals and productivity users, the Oppo Pad 3 Pro supports the Oppo Pencil 2 Pro and Smart Keyboard.
With 16,000 pressure sensitivity levels, the Pencil 2 Pro responds instantly to the lightest touch for a seamless writing and drawing experience. It also provides page-turning and laser pointer functions for presentations.

The Oppo Pad 3 Pro Smart Keyboard is NFC-capable and offers quick file transfers, screen mirroring, and app relay for cross-device workflow.
Other specs include 8 stereo speakers, Holo Audio for customising the audio for calls, music and videos, OReality Audio to intelligently adapt sound for a more immersive experience, Trinity Engine and HyperBoost technologies for a smooth gaming experience, a 9,510mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC Flash Charge (a full charge can be achieved in just 80 minutes), and a 6.49mm thin chassis that weighs 586g.
High-end Android tablets seem to be enjoying a bit of a comeback as the Oppo Pad 3 Pro joins Samsung's Galaxy Tab S10 series as two of the most high-profile and expensive recent releases.
