Apple is said to have dropped plans for an OLED iPad Air.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's latest investor note states that concerns about quality and costs have led Apple to cancel plans for an OLED iPad Air in 2022. The company is believed to be sticking to LCD for the iPad Air.
Earlier this year, Kuo and other publications claim that an OLED iPad Air is coming next year. ETNews added that Samsung and LG are expected to supply the OLED panels for the tablet. TheElec also wrote that Apple has plans to launch up to three OLED iPad models over the next two years.
