While you will not be expecting any new iPad hardware next month, Apple is said to be unveiling three new iPads in 2017.
According to Japanese site Macotakara, reliable sources claim that Apple will launch an upgraded version of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, a slightly larger 10.1-inch iPad Pro, and a 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
The 12.9-inch model will come with a 12-megapixel rear camera, True Tone flash and a True Tone display. The 7.9-inch iPad Pro is reportedly replacing the iPad mini 4 with Smart Connector, four stereo speakers, a 12-megapixel rear camera, True Tone flash and True Tone display. The 10.1-inch iPad Pro will also come with four stereo speakers.
The new iPads are unlikely to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack. It is also not known whether Apple will switch to the touch-sensitive home button for the new iPads. KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has a somewhat similar report although he predicted that the iPad Pro will sport a 10.5-inch display and there will be a more affordable 9.7-inch iPad model.
