Apple's event on 9th September is shaping up to be its biggest yet with reports of more hardware being announced on that day.

According to The New York Times, sources claim that Apple may introduce new metal finishes for the Apple Watch which include a less expensive gold model. The report reaffirms KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's prediction in March that the Apple Watch will have more casing material options.

In addition, Apple is said to be "putting the finishing touches" on a revamped keyboard designed for the iPad. The iPad keyboard may be available by the end of the year which will be around the same time that the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is alleged to hit retail shelves.

You also can expect a pair of new iPhones, a new Apple TV with touch-based remote control, and a new iPad Mini 4 to be unveiled at the launch event.
