Xiaomi just unveiled its latest midrange smartphone, the Mi 6X which is exclusively available for the Chinese market.

The Mi 6X sports a 5.99-inch 18:9 LCD display (2,160 x 1,880 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform, a dual-camera module (12MP Sony IMX486 sensor + 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor), a 20MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint sensor on the rear, USB Type-C port, a 7.3mm thin full metal body, a 3,010mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0, and Xiao AI voice assistant.

It is available in three different configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage (1,599 yuan), 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage (1,799 yuan), and 6GB + 128GB (1,999 yuan). It will be available from 27 April in China through offline and online channels.

Considering that Xiaomi rebranded the Mi 5X as the Mi A1 last year, it is likely to do the same for the Mi 6X. The Mi A2 would become the company's second stock Android OS device under the Android One branding.
