The flurry of leaks and rumors leading up to Xiaomi's event on July 22 seem to suggest that the company is planning to launch more than one product.

According to GizChina.com, Tenaa - the telecommunications equipment certification centre in China- recently certified two Xiaomi models. The two phones are the Redmi and Redmi Note.

While the designs of the phones remain the same, their specs have been updated; MIUI is now based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and there is support for 4G LTE connectivity. It is unclear which processors are used in the devices, but it is likely to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 or MediaTek MT6595 chipset

The event poster has the number "4", which we initially thought to be a teaser for the upcoming Mi 4 flagship smartphone. With this latest report, it is possible that we are looking at four new LTE devices - the Mi 4, Mi 3S, Redmi and Redmi Note - at the event.
