Xiaomi's Redmi Note phones have consistently been reliable, low-cost alternatives to the eye-wateringly expensive handsets other Singaporeans love to buy. In our previous interactions, we were pretty impressed by the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G midrange smartphones.
So, it's no surprise that we're excited about the newly announced Redmi Note 14 series and the slew of accessories that launched simultaneously in Singapore.
Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ 5G

At first glance, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ models seem similar. Both phones share the same rear camera array: a 200MP main camera (f/1.65 aperture, 1/1.4-inch sensor, 2.24μm 16-in-1 pixel binning, OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2), and a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4). These cameras seem unchanged from the Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
Both models share the same 6.67-inch CrystalRes AMOLED display (2,712 x 1,220 pixels resolution), which has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the display supports Dolby Vision and 1,920Hz PWM dimming and has TÜV Rheinland certifications.

However, that's where the similarities end.
While both phones have a large 5,110mAh batteries, the Redmi Note 14 Pro only supports up to 45W of fast charging, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ can do 120W of HyperCharge.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra processor inside, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ gets a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, announced in August 2024. Both phones, however, have LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, IP68 dust and water resistance (refer to our IP glossary here for more details), and 5G support.

The non-pro models also share several similarities.
Both phones have a 108MP main camera (f/1.7, 1/1.67-inch sensor, 1.92μm 9-in-1 pixel binning) and a 2MP macro camera (f/2.4). The Redmi Note 14 5G has an 8MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2), while the Redmi Note 14 has a 2MP depth camera instead.
Both phones come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, but the Redmi Note 14 5G has a peak brightness of 2,100 nits while the Redmi Note 14 can only get up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness.

Both phones use MediaTek chips inside. The Redmi Note 14 5G has a Dimensity 7025-Ultra, while the Redmi Note 14 has a Helio G99-Ultra. Both phones have LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded to 1TB via MicroSD. They also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a nice feature for people who want to use wired earphones.
The Redmi Note 14 5G has a 5,110mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, while the Redmi Note 14 has a larger 5,500mAh battery that supports 33W charging. These phones only support a physical SIM, and there is no option to use an eSIM, so please keep that in mind if you're looking to purchase one.
These base models aren't quite as well protected against the elements, with the Redmi Note 14 5G rated IP64 and the Redmi Note 14 rated IP54.
All four phones run on Xiaomi's HyperOS operating system. They also come with Google Gemini and some AI photo-editing features.
Wearables and accessories
Besides launching four Redmi-tier smartphones, Xiaomi introduced several wearables and accessories, including the Redmi Buds 6, Redmi Buds 6 Pro, Redmi Watch 5, and two 10,000mAh Xiaomi power banks.

The Redmi Buds 6 are earbuds designed for daily use. They have ANC that cancels out up to 49dB of noise, a dual-driver system, and a dual-microphone system with AI noise reduction to reduce background noise.
With up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge in the earbuds and up to 42 hours with the case, these earbuds can withstand long commutes and more.

The Redmi Buds 6 Pro targets users interested in slightly better audio quality. These earbuds have a triple driver system, utilising PZT (lead zirconate titanate) piezoelectric dual tweeters and an 11mm driver with a titanium diaphragm for deeper bass and crisper highs.
The ANC is said to cancel out up to 55dB of noise, and the earbuds should last up to 9.5 hours or up to 36 hours when the case is included.
Redmi Watch 5

The Redmi Watch 5 has a large 2.07-inch AMOLED display with up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate. The super-thin 2 mm bezels result in an 82% screen-to-body ratio.
The 24-day battery life is improved over the Redmi Watch 4's estimated 20 days. Vitals tracking also got upgrades, with a new in-house-designed heart rate algorithm that supposedly enhances accuracy.
Over 150 sports modes are available, and the device has built-in 5-system GNSS for outdoor positioning accuracy.
Xiaomi 33W Power Bank 10,000mAh and Xiaomi 165W Power Bank 10,000mAh

Powerbanks are a necessity nowadays, especially for people who spend long hours out of the house or office or are frequent travellers. Xiaomi has announced two new 10,000mAh power banks.
The Xiaomi 33W Power Bank 10,000mAh has a built-in USB-C cable that can charge a compatible Xiaomi smartphone from 0 to 45% in 30 minutes. Another USB-C port also supports 33W charging, and the third USB-A port has dynamic power allocation of up to 22.5W per device is also included.
It's also able to simultaneously receive charge at 30W when it's giving charge to connected devices.

The Xiaomi 165W Power Bank 10,000mAh is a beast for people needing to charge at higher speeds. However, do note that the 165W listed is the combined wattage output.
The power bank can simultaneously charge two Xiaomi devices at speeds of up to 120W and 45W (giving us 165W total). The 120W charging is specific to compatible Xiaomi devices like the 120W-receiving Redmi Note 14 Pro+ above.
A built-in USB-C charging cable supports up to 120W charging. Also, the power bank can offer dual-port charging of up to 110W (65W + 45W) for non-Xiaomi devices.
Unfortunately, this means that laptops from other brands, such as Apple, Asus, and others, can only charge at 65W.
he power bank does support 90W self-charging so that it can achieve a full charge in just 35 minutes.
