WhatsApp users may be able to add their social media profile links to their accounts in a future update.
WhatsApp is planning to add more social media flavour to its instant messaging service.
WaBetaInfo discovered in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 25.3.10.72 update that there is a feature to add social media profile links to user accounts.
The optional feature is said to be nestled in a new section under the profile setting. For users who opt-in, WhatsApp allows them to control the visibility of their social media profile links through privacy settings.

While Instagram is currently the only supported social media platform, WaBetaInfo believes more platforms will be added in the future.
Meta announced an update last month that allows WhatsApp users to share status updates across Instagram and Facebook. Adding social media profile links to WhatsApp accounts is likely another strategic move to improve users' connected experiences across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp – Meta's three largest platforms.
