Samsung's new Galaxy A9 (2016) has a 6-inch 1080p display and a 4,000mAh battery

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy A9 (2016) smartphone, which is one of the largest mobile devices in its portfolio with a 6-inch Full-HD display. It also comes with a whopping 4,000mAh battery.

Weeks after launching the Galaxy A (2016) lineup, Samsung unveiled its largest member yet - the Galaxy A9 (2016).

The Galaxy A9 (2016) has a 6-inch Full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage space with microSD support up to 128GB.

Despite its 7.4mm thin design, Samsung managed to equip the A9 (2016) with a massive 4,000mAh battery.There is also a fingerprint sensor embedded in the physical home button at the front. Other specs include a 13-megapixel f/1.9 rear camera with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixe front-facing camera. 

The Galaxy A9 (2016) will be available in the Chinese market soon although pricing is not known at time of publication.
