The rumours were right. Samsung did launch a slim Galaxy S25 phone. At the end of the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung showed off its new super slim phone called the Galaxy S25 Edge.
And honestly, that’s about all we know for now.

Samsung did not disclose specs like how thin it is, how much it weighs, and even what processor it will run. We also don’t know when it will be launched and how much it’ll cost. We pretty much just know that it exists. That said, an earlier rumour said it would launch in these 39 markets.
That said, we can tell a couple of things from seeing it at the demo area. With its flat sides and slab-like profile, its design clearly mirrors that of the rest of the S25 series. We can see that it's really slim and has two cameras. Also, its screen size appears to be around 6.7 inches.
What’s more significant about this announcement is that Samsung has beat Apple to the punch in launching a super slim phone. For months, it’s been rumoured that Apple will launch a slimmer iPhone later this year.
Will super slim phones be the next big thing in phones this year? Only time will tell.
