Samsung tipped to unveil Galaxy S25 in second half of Jan 2025

The Financial Times from South Korea says Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event could happen in late January next year.
Citing unnamed industry sources, The Financial Times claim the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event could be held on 23 January 2025 in San Francisco. The purported event date is corroborated by reliable tipster @heyitsyogesh.
Tipster @OnLeaks x @AndroidHeadline reported in September that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event could be held in the week of 13 January after CES 2025. For reference, the Galaxy S24 series was unveiled on 17 January (18 January, Singapore Time).
Samsung said previously the Galaxy S25 lineup "will have top-of-the-line upgrades", especially with regards to the camera and display.
Aside from the Galaxy S25 series, The Financial News believes the Galaxy S25 Slim might have a surprise preview at the event. Samsung's One UI 7 update is also expected to be released at the Galaxy S25 event.
As the name suggests, the Galaxy S25 Slim is said to have a slimmer form factor. It will reportedly serve as a test bed for the Galaxy S26 as the company will study market reaction to this model.
