Samsung’s new and upcoming operating system for its new phones — One UI 6.0 — has begun appearing in various Samsung servers around the world.

According to SamMobile and GSMArena, Samsung’s beta testing version of its reskinned Android 14 operating system has appeared in the company’s South Korean, Indian, and European servers. The first Samsung phones that would likely be compatible with the beta OS would be the Samsung Galaxy S23 series handsets, which would include the S23, S23+ (review here) and Galaxy S23 Ultra (review here).

The appearance of its One UI 6.0 beta builds also coincides with a previous leak that earmarked these test versions for the third week of July, when Android 14 itself also starts its platform stability beta testing period.

That, in turn, is also well-timed with Samsung’s next major product reveal for smartphones, which is happening on 26 July 2023, 7PM. While it’s nobody’s surprise that Samsung will launch its next generation of foldable phones and wearables, it’s unclear whether these devices will pack the latest One UI 6.0 right out of the box.
