Samsung is rumored to be launching another variant of the Galaxy S8 later this year.
According to Chinese site ITHome, the Galaxy S8 mini could be in the pipeline and it might launch in South Korea at some point this year. The Galaxy S8 mini is said to sport a 5.3-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and an iris scanner. The Galaxy S8 and S+ come with 5.8 and 6.2-inches displays respectively.
As this rumor is unsubstantiated by other leaks, we recommend that you take this with a pinch of salt. Samsung has not released a smaller variant of its Galaxy S flagship phone since 2015 although there was a rumor last year about a 4.6-inch Galaxy S7 mini.
