Leaks of Samsung Galaxy S24 FE allege Galaxy AI coming on board

According to one tip-off, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is due for a launch.

An exclusive reveal on Android Headlines said that Samsung’s budget alternative to its premium Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy S24 FE, is due for an October 2024 announcement. The publication also summarised all the core features that the phone would have.

The phone will use an Exynos 2400e processor, making the Galaxy S24 FE the third consecutive time Samsung has used its own chipset for its FE series (since the Galaxy S21 FE). This slightly differs from earlier rumours where the phone is said to use Exynos 2400 instead.

It will also come with Galaxy AI out of the box, just like the mainline series it's based on. AI features include Portrait Studio, Generative Edit, Circle To Search, Sketch to Image, and Live Translate, which hints at the Galaxy S24 FE shipping with at least One UI 6.1.1 (based on Android 14).

There are up to five colours launching on this phone, and that does not include Samsung’s exclusive colours that are only available when purchased directly from the brand’s online store. The five common colours are Graphite, Blue, Silver/White, Green, and Yellow, but the availability may differ depending on the region Samsung chooses to release them.

Leaked hard specs include a 6.7-inch display with up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness and a 4,565mAH battery. Android Headlines also found images of the phone’s camera system, which hints at a triple rear configuration featuring a 50MP main, 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and 12MP ultra-wide.

In case you forgot, the FE (fan edition) series of Samsung’s Galaxy S phones first debuted with a Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S20 FE (review here). Samsung skipped the Galaxy S22 FE to build more units of that year’s mainline phones.
