Samsung locks down Galaxy S25 Edge launch date, but is it coming to Singapore?

Back when Samsung teased the ultra-slim Galaxy S25 Edge during its H1 2025 Unpacked event for Galaxy S phones, the Koreans did not reveal any key details about the handsets.
Samsung did, however, dangle the mobiles just outside the reach of sweaty tech bloggers and journalists all clamouring as if they'd never seen a phone before (including yours truly). It was a sight to behold.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge launch date, where to watch
Now, it looks like Samsung is finally ready to introduce its phone engineering feats. According to Samsung’s official newsroom portal, the Galaxy S25 Edge is getting a 13 May launch keynote at 9 AM KST (Singapore Time 8 AM, same day).
The keynote will be streamed live at Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel. We’ve embedded the keynote above so you can mark it on your calendars.
Is Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge coming to Singapore?
The invite did not specify which markets will likely be the first to get the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, but we have our guesses.
The official Instagram account of Samsung Singapore uploaded the same teaser invite as an Instagram Reel, along with a Singapore Time and a link to a S$10 e-registration voucher for the event.
Two things are going on here. First, the local Samsung account isn’t likely to upload every single launch and product announcement coming out of Korea, so it stands to (our) reasoning that the Galaxy S25 Edge teaser is here because it’s coming to the Singapore market in its first wave launch.
Also, the S$10 voucher gives S$50 off for the “next Next Premium Galaxy Device via Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App or at any Samsung Experience Store.” It’s only valid between 13 May 2025 (8 AM SGT) and 29 May 2025 (11.59 PM SGT), so you have exactly two weeks to use it to its maximum effect. Two weeks is the typical timeframe for Samsung's pre-orders of its major, fast-moving products.
Based on those not-so-subtle hints, the Galaxy S25 Edge will come to Singapore, and it will be one of the first markets to get the slim phone.
