PSA: iPhone X available for same day order and pickup at Apple Orchard Road

If you are still waiting for your iPhone X to be delivered in the next few weeks, why not try your luck at Apple's Online Store or the Apple Store app today? It seems that there are regular shipments of iPhone X units streaming into Apple Orchard Road every day which allows you to order and collect on the same day.
Based on the numerous posts in two Apple forum threads (1) (2) over the past two days, consumers were able to secure their orders in the morning for collection later on the same day or late at night with collection the following day.

At time of publication, the Silver iPhone X is available for pickup today in both storage options while the 64GB Space Grey model is only available for pickup today. The same day in-store pickup of iPhone X at Apple Stores is also available in the U.S according to a report by 9to5Mac. The rumors of stock shortages and production issues with the iPhone X are apparently not true.
