OPPO’s recent teasers of its upcoming Find N5 book-style foldable smartphone have been cheeky, if not borderline inflammatory.
Shortly after it compared the phone’s slim profile to the Apple iPad Pro, OPPO now has a social media post showing how the OPPO Find N5 has a less visible crease with a side-by-side comparison to a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6.
The photos were uploaded on the official X/Twitter account of Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at OPPO.
While we do not like putting others down to look relatively better, OPPO’s comparison for their upcoming foldable is rooted in some truth. The Samsung foldables have been consistent, mainstream options long before Chinese phone makers took a crack at the form factor seriously. However, the Koreans have yet to introduce a folding display that mitigates the creased viewing experience.
