OnePlus 2 to have a fingerprint sensor that unlocks "faster than Touch ID"

OnePlus has confirmed the third official spec of its upcoming flagship smartphone - the OnePlus 2 will sport a fingerprint sensor that works "faster than Touch ID".

OnePlus is bringing "one of the latest and most advanced fingerprint sensors out there" to its flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 2.

According to OnePlus, the fingerprint sensor is "refined and lightning quick" which allows the user to unlock the OnePlus 2 "faster than Touch ID". In addition, the fingerprint sensor is able to store up to five fingerprint profiles.

Aside from the fingerprint sensor, the OnePlus is confirmed to be powered by a second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, sports a USB Type-C port and will be unveiled in virtual reality on 27th July.
