After rapidly launching the Redmagic 10 Pro and its variants (such as a real gold version and a sleeker alternative with an all-white back), Nubia's Redmagic brand is back with a lightweight variant in the form of Redmagic 10 Air.
Redmagic 10 Air?
The Redmagic 10 Air weighs merely 205g, which much lighter than many standard large-sized phones and its very own 229g Redmagic 10 Pro.
The lightweight variant uses mildly curved edges running along the aluminium middle frame, supposedly improving its handling and comfort for mobile gamers.

The phone also has capacitive shoulder triggers similar to those found on game console controllers, allowing for customisation and more responsive game-ending combos.
Redmagic 10 Air uses a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It also has 1,600-nit peak brightness.
Under the hood, the phone is supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. It also has a RedCore R3 co-processor like the Pro version to help the device along.
For improved thermal management, the Redmagic 10 Air uses a 9-layer ICE-X cooling system (liquid metal, graphene layers, copper foil, and a large vapour chamber) to wick away heat accumulated during intense gaming sessions.

A large 6,000mAh battery keeps up long gaming sessions, and it should be more than enough for a full day of moderate usage. The phone also supports 80W fast charging, and it only takes 52 minutes to get a full charge from 0%.
Pricing, availability, promotions

The Redmagic 10 Air typically retails for S$999 for the 12GB+256GB model. Redmagic has two launch promotions going on, which can bring the retail price down to S$779 or S$739, depending on how early you choose to pick one up.
The basic early bird promo discounts the 256GB model to S$779. It's available in Twilight and Hailstone colourways. This promo is valid from 5 to 31 May 2025 and can be found on Redmagic's Shopee or Lazada storefronts. Doing so also nets you a free Redmagic VC Cooler 6 Air (usual retail price of S$68).
However, Redmagic's Singapore website offers the option to leave a S$1 deposit between 29 April and 6 May 2025. You'll receive a coupon code for S$40 off that stacks on top of its already-discounted price, bringing it down to S$739. Do note that it doesn't stack with other promotions, which we interpret as losing out on the above freebie (S$68 Redmagic VC Cooler 6 Air).
Note that the "S$40 off" code also expires on 7 June 2025, so don't forget to use it if you get one.
