If you're looking for one of the best smartphones for mobile games like Honor of Kings or Genshin Impact, the Redmagic 10 Pro series coming to global markets in December might be one of the most viable options in the market for a while; thanks to its components and gaming-centric features.

Equipped with the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, top-of-the-line LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and fast UFS 4.1 Pro storage, the Redmagic 10 Pro and Redmagic 10 Pro+ is designed to handle demanding mobile games.

Cementing is the additional RedCore 3 co-processor, which handles games interpolation and resolution upscaling while also managing thermals and power.

The Full HD+ resolution 6.85-inch display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits provides an unmarred experience thanks to narrow bezels, a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio, and an under-display selfie camera. The display also has a maximum 144Hz refresh rate, which exceeds most mobile games that are capped at 60FPS or 120FPS.

The biggest selling points of the Redmagic 10 Pro series are the battery and the internal cooling technology. Redmagic 10 Pro+ has a massive 7,050mAh dual-cell battery with a 25% increase in energy density (when compared to the Redmagic 9 series) and supports 120W wired fast charging.

The Redmagic 10 Pro has a smaller, but still impressive, 6,500mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging. Both phones also feature charging separation, allowing a direct power supply to the motherboard when gaming (and avoiding the battery route), helping to reduce heat and prolong the battery's longevity.

The proprietary ICE X Cooling System inside uses liquid metal and is paired with an upgraded vapour chamber and advanced graphene and copper insulation, and is supposed to enable core temperature drops of up to 21°C (presumably, as Redmagic did not specify which temperature unit it refers to).

To look the gamer part, the Redmagic 10 Pro series phones have two models with a transparent back design with 30% more transparent areas than the Redmagic 9S. This allows the customisable RGB light effects to be showcased better.

The gaming phones come with Android 15 out of the box, under the Redmagic OS 10 skin, and AI features like Google Gemini will also be available.
