Apple could be adding a bigger Action button and a Capture button on the iPhone 16 Pro.
CAD files obtained by 91mobiles suggest the Action Button, which was introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro last year, could get a slight bump in size.
In addition, there is a new Capture button just below the Power button. Tipped to have capacitive touch functionality, 91mobiles claims the Capture button allows users to take photos/videos and adjust focus and zoom levels. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported on the new "Capture" button two months ago.
As for the physical footprint, the iPhone 16 Pro is slightly taller, wider and thicker than the iPhone 15 Pro. The larger dimensions are likely to accommodate a 6.3-inch display, a rumour first brought up by display analyst Ross Young in May 2023.
Other rumoured upgrades on the iPhone 16 Pro include a 48MP ultra-wide camera (vs 12MP ultra-wide on the iPhone 15 Pro), new colour options and a bigger 3,355mAh battery.
