Huawei will not unveil its flagship phone at MWC 2018
Huawei has sent out press invites for a launch event next month in Paris.

While Samsung is returning to Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 to launch its flagship phones, Huawei is taking the opposite route.
The Chinese phone maker has sent out press invites for an event in Paris on 27 March. While the press invite makes no mention about the brand name for the phone, it indicates "new flagship devices" which is likely to be the P20 series.
Huawei took the wraps off the P10 and P10 Plus at MWC 2017. A possible reason for the delay this year could be to avoid sharing the limelight with Samsung and its Galaxy S9 phones.
The P20 phones are rumored to come with bigger displays and Leica-branded cameras which could include a triple lens 40MP rear camera module that is capable of 5x hybrid zoom.
