HTC Sues Apple for Patent Infringement
HTC filed a lawsuit against Apple for infringing on three patents that it acquired from the purchase of ADC Technologies.
HTC has filed yet another lawsuit against Apple for infringing on three patents that it acquired from the purchase of ADC Technologies in April.
According to SlashGear, HTC claimed that Apple used technologies and intellectual property covered by the three patents without its permission. Hence, HTC is seeking damages and a sales ban on the iOS devices (iPods, iPhones and iPads) and Macs in the U.S.
Despite stating its intentions to reach a deal with Apple, HTC has been going on the offensive in recent weeks with the filing of a lawsuit against Apple in Britain on 29 July 2011. We can hear the war drums of HTC beating louder as it readies itself for the long battle ahead.
