Here's the list of most popular cameras and brands on Flickr this year
Flickr released its list of most popular cameras and brands used for photos shared on the site in 2015. Hit the link to find out if your camera phone or DSLR made it to the list.

Earlier this year, Flickr shared with the world what were the most widely used camera devices based on usage statistics. Just two days ago, Flickr released its list of most popular cameras and brands used to upload photos on its site this year.
Not surprisingly, the Apple iPhones continue to dominate the list with the iPhone 6 accounting for about 5% of all photographers. This is closely followed by the iPhone 5s at 4.9%, iPhone 5 at 4.2%, iPhone 4s at 3.5%, iPhone 4 at 2.5% and iPhone 6 Plus at 2.2%. The Canon EOS 5D Mark II came in at 7th position with 1.9% ahead of the iPhone 5c (1.8%).
Other devices that made it to the list are the Galaxy S4 (1.5%), Galaxy S5 (1.2%), Nikon D90 (1.2%) and Apple iPad (1.1%). If you noticed, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus did not make it to the list as they were only available towards the end of 2015.
Taking into account how Android camera phones have improved tremendously this year, it's strange that they did not register in Flickr's list. Nonetheless, it would be very interesting to see if Apple is able to maintain its dominance next year.
