A photo of the Pixel 2 shared with VentureBeat reveals that Google's upcoming Pixel 2 smartphones may lack the common features found in existing flagship phones.

Based on the leaked photo, the upcoming Pixel 2 phones will not have a dual camera configuration unlike the iPhone 7 Plus, the LG G6, the Huawei P10 and the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. The smaller Pixel 2 phone will continue to sport thick bezels at the top and bottom of the display while the Pixel XL 2 will have smaller top and bottom bezels than the Pixel XL.

HTC is tasked to make the Pixel 2 while LG will be making the Pixel XL 2, which collaborates an earlier report that the South Korean company is responsible for at least one of the two new Pixel phones. Therefore, consumers can expect to see the HTC U11's flagship features being implemented on the Pixel 2 such as the front-facing stereo speakers and squeeze-sensitive frames. VentureBeat also confidently said that the Pixel 2 phones will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
