Google has finally brought the Google Pixel 9 Pro to Singapore, hitting the streets on 24 October 2024.
It’s retailing at its promised official starting price of S$1,459 (128GB), with 128GB and 256GB variants available in four colourways: Porcelain, Rose Quartz, Hazel, and Obsidian.
Once retail begins, you can find it at its official touchpoints and retail partners, such as the Google Store, Amazon SG, Challenger, Courts, Singtel, Shopee, Lazada, and SprintCass (Airport).
It’s also coming to in-store touchpoints at Challenger, Courts, Singtel, and SprintCass.
You can also update the Pixel 9 Pro to the latest October 2024 Pixel Feature Drop, which was launched alongside Android 15 for Pixel phones.

During its launch, Google introduced all three models of its flagship Pixel 9 series, which consists of a regular Pixel 9, the same-sized Pixel 9 Pro, and a larger Pixel 9 Pro XL (alongside a Pixel 9 Pro Fold for foldable users).
However, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL arrived first in August 2024, followed by the Pixel 9 Pro Fold arriving in September. The Pixel 9 Pro did not make it into the first wave of release, and Google did not give reasons for the delay.
Fundamentally, the Pixel 9 Pro is targeted at users who want all the features of its Pro models, but do not want the bulk and heft of its 6.8-inch Pixel 9 Pro XL.
That means you’re still getting Pro-specific perks like its 16GB RAM, 48MP rear telephoto camera, multi-zone laser-detection autofocus, and 3,000-nits peak brightness for its display. However, all these will come in its 6.3-inch body, the same size as the regular Pixel 9.
The downside of downsizing is that the Pixel 9 Pro's battery capacity is also smaller than that of its Pro XL sibling, with 4,700mAh, the same capacity as the Pixel 9.
Now that the phone is here, the HWZ Editorial team will review the Pixel 9 Pro separately, but you can still get a sense of what Google is trying to offer with its Pixel 9 series by reading our Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL review here.
