The next iPhone will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, and Apple is expected to pull out all the stops for it.

Rumors suggest that the next iPhone will have an all display design, like the new Xiaomi Mi MIX; or even curved edges like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

The latest rumors now suggest that the next iPhone might very well feature wireless charging.

According to the latest reports, Apple's major manufacturing partner Foxconn is currently testing wireless charging modules for use in the next iPhone.

However, it also said that whether or not this feature makes it to the next iPhone will be dependent on yields rates.

Reports say, "But whether the feature can eventually make it into Apple's updated devices will depend on whether Foxconn can boost the yield rate to a satisfactory level later on."

It's also unclear at this point if wireless charging will be a feature on all iPhones, or would it be reserved for higher-end iPhone models.

Apple has also been hiring engineers with expertise in wireless charging. Most recently hiring two engineers from uBeam, a startup that focuses on a wireless charging technique that uses ultrasonic waves.
