Samsung has reportedly finalized the design and specs of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8.

According to The Android Soul, Korean media claim that a prototype of the Galaxy S8 has been sent to Samsung's CEO and Vice Chairman. In addition, it is said that the dual-camera module will be exclusive to the Galaxy S8 Plus due to cost concerns.

Other confirmed specs include no physical home button, a fingerprint sensor on the back, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor for the U.S market, 6GB RAM and 64GB base storage option. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will have display sizes of 5.7 and 6.2-inches respectively, which collaborates with an earlier report by The Bell.

It is not known whether Samsung will announce the Galaxy S8 at next month's Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 or hold a separate event. However, industry sources told The Investor and Naver that the Galaxy S8 would hit retail shelves in mid-April (or 18th April).
