Apple's iOS 9 is on track to be downloaded by more users than any other software release in Apple's history based on the latest figures from the App Store.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple updated the App Store data chart which reveals that 61% of devices currently run on iOS 9. The release of iOS 9.1 yesterday with over 150 new emoji characters and Live Photos improvements is likely to accelerate the adoption rate. In comparison, it took iOS 8 double the time to hit 60% last year.
