AppleCare+ for iPhone can be purchased within a year window in the U.S
Apple appears to have extended the purchase window of the AppleCare+ for the iPhone from 60 days to 1 year.

iPhone users in the U.S have something to cheer about! Apparently, Apple has quietly extended the purchase window of the AppleCare+ for the iPhone from 60 days to one year.
A writer from 9to5Mac shared how he was able to add the AppleCare+ warranty for his iPhone 7 which was bought in November 2016. He went on to check if the same applies for the iPad and Apple Watch, but it seems to apply only for the iPhone. Apple employees have reportedly confirmed this with 9to5Mac.
For now, the extended purchase window of the AppleCare+ for the iPhone is only available in the U.S. Let's just cross our fingers and pray that Apple will expand this coverage to other markets soon.
The AppleCare+ package is priced at S$228 where the warranty coverage is extended to two years. It also provides up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage with a service fee of S$42 for screen damage or S$148 for any other damage.
