Apple has reportedly decided on a date to announce the new iPhones.

According to Mac4Ever, sources from unnamed telcos said that Apple is planning to unveil the new iPhones on 12 September, Tuesday. The telcos were apparently aware of the date and have been busy preparing for the launch.

If history is any guide, pre-orders for the iPhone will start on 15 September, Friday with retail availability a week later on 22 September, Friday. It is not unclear whether all three iPhone models will go on sale at the same time as there are rumors of supply constraints for the iPhone 8 at launch.
