Limited quantities of iPhone 8 to launch with iPhone 7s next month?

While Apple always do not have sufficient stocks of the iPhones at launch, this year could be worse as the supply is said to be severely constrained.

There are good and bad news regarding the launch of the iPhone 8; it would be launched next month along with the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, but there would be very limited quantities.

KGI Securities published its latest report where it claims that all three iPhone models would be launched in September. As mass production of the iPhone 8 will only start in mid September, KGI expects only 2 to 4 million units to be available at launch. The supply constraints are likely to continue through the holiday season and early next year.

KGI also states that the three iPhone models would come in only three colors: black, silver and gold. It's not known whether the color options are similar to the ones leaked on Chinese social networking site Weibo a few days ago. All three iPhone models are said to support fast charging when used with a USB-C Lightning cable that can be purchased separately.
