The Apple iPhone 15 lineup could come with colour-matched braided USB-C charging cables.
@MajinBuOfficial shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) over the weekend some photos of the purported iPhone 15 braided USB-C cable in pink, grey and black.
Another tipster, @KosutamiSan, who is an Apple device prototype collector, corroborates the leak and claims these are design validation test (DVT) samples of the colour-matched braided USB-C cables for the iPhone 15 models.
@KoustamiSan revealed to MacRumors that the iPhone 15 braided USB-C cables are likely to come in white, black, yellow, purple and orange, which hints at the colour options for the iPhone 15.
Colour-matched charging cables are not new to Apple. In fact, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro all come with colour-matched charging cables so we won't be surprised if it's the same for the upcoming iPhone 15.
Apple currently offers USB-C to Lighting cable in white with a rubber jacket for the iPhone and it is not as durable as third-party braided cables.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 15 on 13 September (14 September, SGT) with retail availability expected to begin a week after on 22 September.
