One of the biggest pull factor for any IT fair are the telco deals bundled with loads of goodies, and all sorts of mobile accessories to complement your latest purchases. Here's our recommended list to look at for IT Show 2012!

Mobile Deals

IT Show is currently taking place at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Center. Till the 11th of March, the expo will span five floors (1, 2, 3, 4, and 6), and its doors will be opened from 12 noon to 9pm daily. Broadband Plans

At every IT fair, the three telcos in Singapore, namely SingTel, StarHub and M1 come up with all forms of special bundles, all in the hopes of enticing you to sign up for a two-year mobile or broadband plan. There's a wide variety of discounted plans and freebies to choose from, so here are some of the deals that you might not want to miss out at IT Show 2012.


M1 (Level 2, Ballroom 2 & Foyer)

 

M1 100Mbps Fibre Broadband Offer

When it comes to the most affordable fibre broadband plans, M1 has taken the lead over the last few IT fairs. This year, they've tossed in their 100Mbps fibre broadband plan along with a mobile broadband mData value plan that gives you download speeds of 7.2Mbps and 5GB data limit.

Priced at $45 per month, you are looking at a costing savings of nearly $26 per month from the usual price of both plans combined.

Smartphones 

While most of your smartphone purchases will probably be made through a two-year plan with the telcos, there are times when you might not be able to sign for a new contract and find yourself in need of a new phone. Samsung Galaxy S II

We know what comes after the Samsung Galaxy S II, but that doesn't make last year's dual-core smartphone any lesser. In fact, with $130 slashed off its usual price, the Samsung Galaxy S II is a great catch if you need a new Android smartphone, but can't sign a two-year contract with the three telcos due to a prior plan.

Nokia Lumia 800

Nokia's first Windows Phone gets a new shade of white, and it's finally here. Launched at IT Show 2012, the white Nokia Lumia 800 shares the same specifications as its earlier Lumia 800 siblings. This includes Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.5 Mango as its operating system, with a single-core 1.4GHz processor and a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive display with a screen resolution of 480 x 800 pixels running the show.

If you're keen to try a well-designed Windows Phone, but find yourself tied to a contract, you can consider the Lumia 800, which is discounted from its usual price of $775 to $729.

The Sony Xperia arc S may not have the latest or greatest hardware and software among the sea of smartphones today but it still packs a reasonable punch with a unique design and decent performance. Tablets

Unfortunately, there won't be any Apple products, especially the newly announced iPads from this IT fair onwards. After all, it was only just announced a few hours ago.
