CES is always an exciting time with big announcements and new, revolutionary products that have the off-chance of being the next big thing.
Samsung has kept busy this CES 2024, announcing a new AI robot vacuum cleaner and OLED gaming monitors. But, the company's not stopping yet, with the latest next-big-thing announcement: Music Frame.
Music Frame is Samsung's take on creating a speaker that can "blend into the home, " a décor concept similar to The Frame TV resembling framed art when set to Art Mode.
Unlike The Frame, Music Frame is a little more old-school, using printed photos and art pieces instead.
It's rather similar to IKEA's Symfonisk collaboration with Sonos back in 2021 when the home furniture retailer released the Symfonisk picture frame with a built-in Wi-Fi speaker.
Samsung's Music Frame takes it a little further, as it will allow its owners to use their own photos. There will also be an Art Panel, which is a Diasec matte acrylic plate provided for customers to print their own images if so desired, digitally.
With two woofers, two mid-range drivers and two tweeters hidden inside, the Music Frame is capable of Dolby Atmos audio. The speaker can automatically tune itself to the room's acoustics thanks to Samsung's SpaceFit calibration technology.
It can either be used on its own as a standalone speaker or paired with one of Samsung's televisions and soundbars via Q-Symphony as part of a home theatre setup.
Samsung hasn't announced pricing or availability yet, but homeowners who enjoy not having tech on full display in their house should definitely be keeping an eye on this.
Pricing and Availability *Update*
The Music Frame is available now on Samsung's online store at a special price of S$388 (U.P. S$899).
It can also be found at different prices at Samsung's exclusive partners stores like
