Instagram will finally let users add text and stickers to photos and carousel posts.
You can now add text, stickers, and even a photo on top of another photo directly in the post editor. You can access these new features in the top right corner of the post editor.
Previously, if users wanted to add text or stickers to a photo, they had to do it with a standalone photo-editing app.
Hopefully, these updates will encourage users to post more photos. Since its introduction back in 2016, stories have now become the most popular way for Instagram users to share and interact with each other on the service.

Instagram is also making improvements to stories and reels, in the form of new fonts, animations, and effects.
Earlier this month, Instagram introduced an update that allowed users to add up to 20 photos or videos to a carousel post.
