Instagram is introducing an update to the number of photos and videos that can be added to its carousel posts.
Users can now post up to 20 photos or videos in a carousel post. This is double the previous maximum quantity allowed. The update helps Instagram catch up with TikTok, which allows users to post up to 35 photos.
The increased limit comes weeks after Instagram gave users the ability to add music to carousel posts. Instagram also rolled out a collaborative feature last year where users can invite up to three other people to posts, reels, and carousels.
The new feature will be rolled out progressively around the world starting now.
