Google has announced a renaming of its Bard chatbot and Duet AI after the new artificial intelligence that is powering it, Gemini, as well as introducing a subscription plan for users to pay for access to use the most powerful version, Gemini Ultra.
To access the subscription plan, users will have to sign up for a Gemini Advanced subscription at US$19.99 per month under a new Google One AI Premium plan where you get the best of Google’s AI features in a single place. For existing Google One subscribers, that price includes the storage plans they may already be paying for, such as 2TB of storage. In addition, AI Premium subscribers will soon be able to use Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets and more (formerly known as Duet AI).
