Apple just announced its generative AI will be supporting more languages, including English Singapore, next year.
Apple Intelligence, which will roll out in the US via iOS 18.1 next month, will add localised English support for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK by December.
It will add localised English support for India and Singapore coming next year. Unfortunately, the company did not specify when exactly.
It also said that it plans to support the following languages, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, and Vietnamese, next year too.
This joins Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish, which Apple previously announced will be available in 2025. Apple Intelligence will not be available to EU users at launch due to the Digital Markets Act.
Apple Intelligence was unveiled by the company at WWDC 2024 in June. It will be coming to the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, the entire iPhone 16 lineup, and Macs and iPads that have at least an M1 chip.
