Apple's native Calendar app may get some Apple Intelligence features as early as iOS 19 this year.
MacGeneration recently reported that Apple quietly acquired AI calendar app Mayday on 3 April 2024. Before its official sunset, Mayday calls its app the "all-in-one calendar, task manager, and scheduling assistant for Mac, iOS, and iPad".
According to Mayday's website, its app can auto-schedule appointments and streamline the team schedules without requiring you to determine co-workers' availability.
In addition, the app can learn your scheduling preferences and patterns and provide you with the best practices for productivity.
With WWDC 2025 approaching, Apple is expected to announce a smarter Calendar app in iOS 19. The Calendar app last saw an update in iOS 18, when it gained integration with the Reminders app.
