CEF 2016 is happening at Suntec Singapore from today November 17th to the 20th. Want to know what are some of the products and deals that caught our eye when we combed the show floor earlier today? Well, you've come to the right place. Don't head down to CEF without first reading this!

CEF 2016 highlights!

The Consumer Electronics Fair (CEF) 2016 is happening this week from 17 to 20 November. Organized by the same folks who brought you IT Show, Comex, and CEE, this year's CEF show will take place at Suntec Singapore, level 4 and 3. Take note that if you're looking for mobile phones, desktop computers, portable laptops, digital cameras, and e-mobility vehicles, those can be found on level 4 throughout the four days. On the other hand, home electronic goods from brands like Tefal, Braun, Europace and a few TV brands will be on level 3, which opens from 19 to 20 November. Opening hours are 12 - 9pm; and as always, admission is free.

ASUS ZenBook 3

The ASUS ZenBook 3 bears more than a passing resemblance to the Apple MacBook. The 12.5-inch notebook comes with an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB PCIe SSD. It is light as well, weighing a mere 910g. The top configuration will cost you $2,598, while the mid-range model will cost $1,998. Both versions come bundled with a 1-year anti-virus subscription, a sleeve case, and an ASUS Mini Dock.

ASUS Transformer 3 Pro

The ASUS Transformer 3 Pro is ASUS' reply to the Surface Pro 4. It supports up to an Intel Core i7-6500U processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB PCIe SSD. The 12.6-inch touchscreen display boasts a resolution of 2,880 x 1,920 pixels, which should render images plenty sharp. The top model costs $2,598, but there's also an Intel Core i5 version that costs $1,898. It comes bundled with an ASUS Pen, Transformer Cover Keyboard, and a 1-year anti-virus subscription.

For something more affordable, there's the ASUS X456. These ship with Intel's latest processors as well, an Intel Core i5-7200U to be exact, in addition to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SATA HDD. The 14-inch notebook also comes with a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 940MX GPU for powering its 1,366 x 768-pixel display. You can get it at just $899, together with a 1-year anti-virus subscription, notebook bag, and optical mouse.

ASUS ROG Strix GL502

The ASUS ROG Strix GL502 features a striking design with bright orange highlights. This is a powerful 15.6-inch notebook, featuring an Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD. It costs $2,498, and comes bundled with a 1-year anti-virus subscription, an ROG gaming headset, mouse, and backpack.
